SUMMARY:
Mark Edwards is known internationally for his inventions in advanced metrics. He consults, speaks and does R&D globally on sustainable and affordable food and energy (SAFE) production with algae. He has authored over 100 academic papers and 12 books including a business book and science best-seller.


Mark graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in mechanical engineering and oceanography and meteorology where Jaques Cousteau motivated and mentored his interest in the oceans and global stewardship. He holds an MBA and PhD in marketing and consumer behavior and has taught food marketing, leadership, sustainability and entrepreneurship at Arizona State University for over 30 years.


Mark served as CEO of TEAMS Intl. for 24 years, the software and assessment firm he founded based on reserach on advanced assessment technologies and talent and leadership assessment. He served as lead assessment and leadership consultant for over 400 firms globally. He was retained bt many U.S. departments and the military, including DOE, DOD, Special Forces and the National Labs.


Mark served a a Director for a Fortune 50 foods company and has done extensive R&D on new foods, sources and consumer behavior. He has consulted for Monsanto, Pioneer Seeds, Dupont, Nabisco, Quaker Oats, General Mills, Borden and many other agribusiness companies. He has worked with senior executives at 15 large U.S. oil and gas firms as well as British Petroleum and Aramco.
